DOMENIC GUASTAFERRO (Composer & Lyricist / Producer / Director / Leader) made his debut in New York as a featured singer of The Impossible Dream with the NEW VOICES OF ’74 at Radio City Music Hall. A career in every medium from The Goldovsky Opera Co. to soap operas to a role in the film Arthur followed. He played opposite Julius LaRosa in A BROADWAY MUSICAL and was Mr. Mr. in the 18th Street Playhouse's THE CRADEL WILL ROCK. Among his many roles he has performed are Fred in KISS ME KATE, DeBecque in SOUTH PACIFIC, Capt. VonTrapp in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and Don Quixotte in MAN OF LA MANCHA. He also founded the Christian ALPHA AND OMEGA THEATER COMPANY, INC. on 42nd St. (housed in Holy Cross Church) where a variety of shows were performed for 3 years, culminating in his producing and directing the musical THE FARMER WEDS A WIDOW by Bernie Bierman and Fr. John Barrett, two octogenarians at the time who were introduced to one another by the famous cabaret singer, Hildegarde. With an Ed.D. from Columbia University, he is now retired after 12 years as the Supervisor of Performing and Visual Arts for the City School District of New Rochelle (and nearly 32 years in education in New York City and State). Here he has developed a highly successful program called PAVE, housed in a $25 million arts wing for over 500 students, many of whom have graduated from college and are now auditioning in New York. In April of 2007 his high school performed at Carnegie Hall and he sang Di Provenza from LA TRAVIATA, accompanied by the orchestra, in honor of Robert Merrill, a long time resident of the city. He and his new wife Jia, along with his two sons, James and John reside in New York City. Domenic gives thanks and glory to the Lord for His amazing grace, love and blessings in being able to bring this long awaited and important work to the children! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Jia Lily Guastaferro was a physician of Western Medicine in Shanghai, China for many years. 17 years ago she came to New York and studied and received her MS degree from Mercy College in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She uses her experience and talent to treat many patients, including musicians and dancers. She loves music, and learned singing and performing from her husband, Dr. Dom Guastaferro, with whom she also hosted The Chinese Literature Festival for the New Rochelle School District. She also sings in her church choir, Senior Center. Jia just completed singing the part of a shepherdess in the opera Amahl and the Night Visitors, by G.C. Menotti, which her husband conducted at Our Lady of Good Counsel, NYC. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ James Guastaferro is a native New Yorker who has been blessed to be surrounded by all forms of the arts since his youth. He has experience as an actor, director, videographer, poet and artist; however, his primary passion is music. He is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, song-writer, composer, and producer who has recorded several albums and performs in different bands around the city. He plays percussion and sings tenor under the direction of his father at Saint Phillips and James Church in the Bronx. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ JACQUELINE KROSCHELL is a lifelong entertainer, singer, and actress with Broadway and off-Broadway credits including Man of La Mancha; A Christmas Carol; The Pirates of Penzance; Tamara and dozens of other productions and has toured nationally and internationally. She starred in Steve DePass's one woman inspirational work, Me, Myself, and GOD at Saint Peter's Church and is one of only ten New York Christian soloists endorsed nationally by Christian Music Presenters.  With Dr. Dom conducting, she recently sang the Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors at NYC's Our Lady of Good Counsel.   As singing clown, Yodely-Melody, she's done both private and corporate children's entertainment engagements for years in addition to singing operatic  leads in Cavalleria Rusticana, Otello, Beatrice and Benedict, La Boheme, The Mikado and Elephant Steps, in addition to Gilbert & Sullivan, with New York City Opera, Lake George Opera, The Contemporary Opera of New York, the Stratford Festival Company, Lincoln Center and internationally.  She’s been guest artist with over three dozen symphony orchestras, including the Rochester and Buffalo Philharmonics, the Baltimore, Dallas, Detroit, Denver and Milwaukee Symphonies and Canada's Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnepeg Symphonies and Ottawa's National Arts Center.  Much in demand as a film actress, she played numerous roles in film this year. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Emily Hettervig is very excited to be a part of The Parables. She left her hometown in North Dakota at 17 and studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City with an emphasis on Musical Theatre. Some New York credits include Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Cinderella) and A Christmas Carol (Belle). Some of her dream roles are Julie Jordan in Carousel, Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, and Giselle in a stage production of Enchanted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Myron Buchholz, has been a believer, born again in Yeshua/Jesus since 1975 when he prayed to receive Him in a car outside of McDonald’s in Glendale, CA. The pastor asked him to pray. Myron said that he didn’t know how to pray and the pastor told him to ask God about Jesus. He did and has been serving Him through theater and the film ministry ever since. At Calvary Baptist Church he sings in the choir, volunteers in the church library and participates in skits for the children. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Melissa D’Anna feels blessed to have landed her first role since moving to NYC in Alpha and Omega’s Parables. Melissa grew up in New Jersey and went to Boston University where she graduated this past May with a degree in secondary education. Melissa dreams of one day voicing her very own cartoon series or movie and is currently pursuing that dream. Melissa is thrilled to be working with this talented cast and wants to thank Domenic and Jia for this opportunity. Recent credits include, Audrey (Little Shop of Horrors), Velma (Chicago), Adolfo Pirelli (Sweeney Todd). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sean Mahony bio: Since studying at the Dalcroze school and graduating from the Manhattan School of Music and Julliard, Sean has performed with the New York Philharmonic, onstage and in recordings, has performed children theatre at the Truck and Warehouse Theatre on East 4th Street, was onstage in two Broadway shows: Rags, starring Teresa Stratas, and Dancin', led the Rainbow Room Orchestra atop Rockefeller Center as vocal and trombone soloist, and accompanied Ray Charles, Marvin Hamlisch, the Chieftains, Johnny Mathis, Dinah Shore, Al Martino, Tommy Tune and Jimmy Roselli. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sal Polichetti, a native of Brooklyn NY,Sal has appeared in over 100 local musicals, plays and reviews since 1972. Some of his favorite roles include John Adams (1776), the Baker (Into The Woods), Harold (The Full Monty), the Engineer (Miss Saigon), Franz Liebkin (The Producers; won NYS Theatre Award), Saunders (Lend Me A Tenor) and all 13 times he's done Godspell from 1973-2001. He currently lives in Middletown New York with his talented wife Donna and their equally talented children Joseph and Christina. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
